Biography
Shawn has been a PGA Professional since 1993. He is a graduate of San Jose State University and has been teaching in the Sacramento/Auburn area for more than thirty (30) years. He is a six (6) time Northern California PGA Player of the Year and has played in many PGA Tour Events including the 1996 US Open and three (3) PGA Championships. He represented the United States on the victorious 2000 PGA Cup Team that competed in Wales, UK.
Shawn has taught thousands his “Basic and Balanced” approach to the game of golf and has coached many junior players who have been awarded college scholarships. His focus for Josh over the next seven years is to fine-tune his game and to prepare for tournaments leading up to PGA Tour Champions. He has been very impressed by Josh’s hard work ethic and determination to succeed at a high level of tournament competition.
